Revision research

Can anyone who has had a revision done please reach out to me? Good or bad results. I’m really struggling with this. I don’t feel like I can live like how I look currently, but I also cannot risk the possibility of the outcome being worse

Hi love, please look into Dr Charles S Lee in Beverly hills. He does many rhino revisions and I personally got a primary rhino from him, he is great! He also did a revision on this girl right after me whose nostrils were retracted and he evened out her whole nose and looks beautiful!!!. this is her IG Jenna (@jenluvspabs) google it and go to images she recently changed her Ig, but you can see her after and then you can compare to her before and after on Dr Charles IG as well. He is really patience and will listen to your request. He has a good eye and a perfectionist! check him out on IG. Dr Lee90210 Hope you find the Dr. best for you! I know this is a tough decision but get a few consults if you can and see what they can and cannot do for you. The Dr's I considered for rhino were Dr. Aaron Kosins but he mainly does CLOSED rhinoplasties and his results did not impress me much and Also Dr G. in Glendale, but he is NOT an ent and aesthetics may be nice but there are many which are not good and they have problems with their breathing. You want to be able to have a beautiful but ultimately functioning nose. I hope this helps!

I just want you to know that I completely understand. After my revision surgery I wa left with asymmetrical nostrils (much worse than yours). Try to take a deeper breath and realize we are our own worst critics. You are beautiful and remember your beauty is a reflection of all your feature, not just one. Take your time and do research if you really aren't happy, but don't allow yourself to be consumed into depression. It will get better and there are solutions. Hang in there and be positive.

Sorry about the typos! My phone is acting up tonight. But hopefully you get the sentiment.

I would suggest Dr. Roskies in Toronto. Check out my journey. My nose was horribly botched before. I barely had any nostrils.
His after care is also exceptional!! He really cares about his patients and studies each case very well before surgery.
You're really beautiful! I wish you the best of luck! I promise your nose isn't as bad as you think!

Dr Juan Carlos Fuentes is amazing ! He has fixed botched cases and I had surgery with him since my nose was broken and part of it was collapsed and he did an AMAZING JOB very calm and kind he is so gifted at giving natural results. Look him up here on this app, he is in Tijuana MX so very affordable too!

Hi There, I have three revisions. The first revision was much worse than what you have experienced. The whole nasal bridge was crooked and bumpy, and there was a bump in between the eyes that made me look literally like a freak. I could not sleep for days. I got a second revision which was also bad but at least the bridge was not crooked; however, it was not symmetrical. It was slightly off to one side in the middle and then turning the other side and ending in the middle at the tip, and my nostrils flared out and uneven. One nostril is pointing upward while the other was pointing sideway. The surgeon refused to fix it and told me that I would have to "Learn to live with it". I didn't know how to fight at the time, and I was so terrified after three operations (one primary and two revisions). I thought it could only get worse. So I decided to "learn to live with it" as the surgeon had told me. I just had my third revision last year (after 20 years of suffering misery on and off). My revised nose is not perfectly beautiful (which was not my goal anyway), but at least it looks normal. So I like it. Trust me, I would be happy with your nose (both the before and after).

I consulted with Dr. R. R. I appreciate that his consults are free, I got to speak with him directly (not through an assistant), and he was polite and business-like. However, I felt that he had a certain vision for my nose that I did not necessarily share completely. I wished he'd asked more about what I wanted instead of telling me what I need. I understand that he's the doctor and I'm not, but it is very important to me to have a say in what will be done. But I'd still recommend consulting with him - maybe you'll click with him more than I did. And even though he's not for me, I appreciate the insight he's given me - it was definitely not a waste of my time.
As far as Dr. A. K., I never consulted with him. Some results I've seen by him (online) look great, but others didn't look very good on my opinion - but maybe the patients requested a certain look that's just not my cup of tea. There's a girl with videos online that had a rhinoplasty and a chin implant done by him, and she looks great though, I was very impressed.

I just had a consultation with dr. Reish and I actually felt the exact same way... I'm kind of disappointed. He said he would make my nose a little smaller but I don't want that, I just want symmetry. Also that he would deproject my nose but I'm confused as to what that means exactly? Because my nose is already short enough, it is just rotated too high on one side.

Reish wanted to deproject my nose too!
Did he say anything about derotating your tip (if that's your goal)? Deprojecting would bring the tip closer to your face. I think there are different techniques for deprojection, and some of them get the tip to rotate downward a bit. I can see how that potentially could make the nose look less upturned. But yeah, I feel like he didn't get into details and kind of had the attitude of "just let me handle this, I know what to do".

I would not recommend Aaron kosins. He did my rhinoplasty and at first it looked great but it has changed alot. Also i spoke to him in my consultation and he said he can give me my goal but a minute before surgery he said if i wanted something not natural I shouldnt have chose him (i just wanted a small slope) i was already going into surgery so i couldn't back out. Also after my one month. I texted the nurse about my concerns and she said it was swelling and they never followed back to me. I'm over a year post op.
October 31, 2020
I asked him for a small slope. My nose has no slope which doesn't bother me as much because back than i had a bump so atleast it's gone. However if i paid money and was told i was going to get a certain look I should've got that look. Also from front view my nose is still bulbous as it was before. What bothered me is after i let the nurse know my issue she told me it was swelling than I contacted her again and she said aaron was out on a trip so he would contact me later. He never did. They never took any post op appointments after my like 1st month. I never went in for a year or none of that.

Don't get me wrong there is a difference side view. But not much front view. And for the hype this doctor gets I really expected better.

Hi, do you have a picture of what your nose looked like before and what it currently looks like? Do you feel your nose is better now that it’s been a few years?
November 3, 2020
Aaron konsin i would not recommend bcoz i heard quite bad reviews abt him... Richard reish does lots of revisions and he has given many life back, the recent girl @aiw123 under went for revision with reish, and she is over the moon (she was terribly botch check her account) reish has given life back to many people so i would recommend him specially people like us who are so truamatised after surgery. Sometimes one consultation is not enough to express your goals..i would recommend to send a detail email and setup multiple consultation to decide your surgeon.

Dr. Mehta in Northern California is a revision rhinoplasty expert.
I am having a revision with him in April. I recommend looking into consulting with him.
I also feel Dr. Reish is very good.
Dr. Kim in San Francisco CA is a revision rhinoplasty specialist as well. Hope this helps.
December 29, 2020
Just to clarify the surgeon I am going to is Dr. Umang Mehta in Atherton, CA.
I have researched for 2 years and went to 5 different consults and instantly felt at ease with Dr. Mehta.
I feel he hold fix the collapsed nostril.
That is one of the reasons I am getting a revision; my left nostril is collapsed. Being able to breath well is so important. Know that all of us are here for you and hope you get the outcome you are looking for and can put the trauma behind you. Sending positive thoughts!

You don't need surgery. Before you go under the knife again, look into a liquid rhinoplasty (liquid nose job). Do the research and find the best doctor. The doctor I used, no longer practices. The results were spectacular. My doctor used a permanent filler called Silikon-1000.
