Sorry for the lack of updates but I now have a new revised nose! Thanks for everyone checking in and giving me advices. I really appreciate all the sincere concerns. Dr. Robert Glasgold honestly saved me. Hands down the best doctor. I am almost two months out since surgery and couldn’t be happier.

I know some of you have been waiting for updates. Nose is still horrendous. For comments telling me things will change makes me think that you work for Shah. Sorry but my dorsum/bridge will not grow back. It being swollen will not make it taller when the swelling goes down.

Dr. Ivan Wayne in Oklahoma also fixes a lot of botched jobs. He only works on faces. Only person I would trust with my face.

Dr. Shah BOTCHED my Nose
Long story short. Good reviews unfortunately does not always mean something. Had my surgery after doing my research and when my cast came off I knew immediately that I was botched. Funny that he uses digital imaging but does not even follow it. He over carved my bridge for whatever the heck reasons and made me look like whoville with a saddle nose. The results are far from the ideal image we agreed on. Do not go to him for a rhinoplasty unless you want to look like me.
Oh and I should of known when he called the night before and rushed me off the phone without wanting to even give me a minute. Why even call? Terrible decision. But I'm not letting it end here.

I am so sorry. When do you have a follow-up with him? It takes a long time for rhinoplasty to heal, but that usually refers to swelling and the skin settling. I don't think that would address your concern about the extreme curvature. It may be early, but I would go ahead and ask for a refund and a referral to someone better suited to fix it.
No, the swelling has nothing to do with with my bridge. I get all the swelling and all. I understand the process. But he has over resected my dorsum. But thank you.
I only mentioned the swelling because that is EVERY doctor's go-to reply. That excuse definitely won't work here. See if you can get your operative report. There should be information in there to explain what the heck he did and why. Sorry again that you have to go through this. Good luck! I will be sending positive vibes your way.

How is that possible? I just checked him out and he has tons of positive reviews. I'm not going to go to him, I am from Europe and want someone from here but I fear of doing the same mistake. How can one choose the right surgeon? I guess it's all matter of luck :/
As I dug deeper, there is a good amount of botched patients that he did and had threatened them to remove their reviews or "used" an attorney threats on them. There are also these passive patients who have used a nice tone to express their terrible results. Truth is, he has done this "curvature" on several patients in which they didn't ask for it. Their ideal imaging does not show this but he did it because he wanted to. So, really really do your research. I've already had three surgeons tell me that he over resurrected my dorsal/bridge so it's a FACT that he botched me. And very much, purposely. The swelling does not apply to how my bridge will turn out months from now.
I don't know if one can do a good research since every doctor has good and bad reviews. It's all a matter of luck I think :( but why do you say he botched you on purpose? Why would he do that? I would say no doctor would give bad results to their patient, it's a matter of them not being professional enough. I am so sorry this happened to you. After reading all these bad reviews about different doctors I am even more afraid to do the surgery at all :(
I believe purposely because he did the exact same thing to a couple other patients who wanted a straight tall bridge. But you're probably right....he probably just isn't skilled enough.

How strange. I would figure that it is MORE effort and work to over-resect the dorsal area than to just file it straight like the patient wanted. It is just such a bizarre thing for him to do to several ppl.

yes. if you search enough you will find his botched patients stating this. I know. Unbelievable. But yes, if you have an attorney you can get a cease and desist. NO ONE is going to make me remove my reviews.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I just had a rhinoplasty 4 weeks ago and had a pretty amazing experience sad to see someone going through a bad experience with an other doctor.
I am so sorry you are going through this. Shah botched my nose as well. I had revision surgery with Dr Ion in London. Its been two years since my revision and im pretty happy.
Check out his yelp reviews! He has 3.5 stars...yikes!

I had my surgery scheduled with him but after i dug deeper and found many negative reviews, i cancelled even though i lost out on my deposit + consultation fee. Id rather lose out on $600 than my sanity.
You are lucky! Don't go through what he has put us all through. Good for you my dear!! I wished I found out all prior as well.
