Nose is overturned, void of refinement, tip is crooked & bridge widened

I am DEVASTATED by my results after having a primary open rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Kwak. I came to him after seeing mostly good reviews, his vast experience with revisions and quality work showcased on his Instagram feed. During our consultation I requested for subtle natural looking results, softening my right facet and refining a bulbous tip/columella. I stressed subtle natural results, and we even discussed what I did not want in the consultation. He claimed my septum was deviated and could straighten out my bridge to improve my breathing. I loved the imagery provided during my consultation, trusted his judgment and felt good with my experience leading up to surgery. - long story short (after a difficult post op) my results look nothing as discussed and my breathing is strained and at times uncomfortable. I feel liberties were taken, the process was not properly disclosed and the imagery provided was extremely misleading. My nose is overturned, void of refinement, my tip is crooked/asymmetrical and flattened and my bridge has been widened. I now sleep with my mouth open because of my results (it’s been almost 1 year since the surgery) When I asked what happened he was perplexed and tried to assure me my results would improve with time and that my nose before was an undesirable look and the outcome of surgery is much better. When I asked about revision he exclaimed he wouldn’t recommend because my nose is liable to collapse. My heart is broken and my confidence gone.
**PLEASE - for your sake, don’t get caught up by Instagram followers/feed (I gave them the rights to use my imagery and obviously they were never used). Don’t be caught up by a good deal they might provide and don’t be afraid to get another opinion or two. No amount of savings is worth these results. I wish I had been more properly guided. Seek an ENT, ask about a closed rhinoplasty if your wanting something subtle and someone who will actually follow through with revisions if you’re unsatisfied and not leave you with a nose that can’t be revised. Dr. Kwak may be the surgeon for you, unfortunately it did not work out for me. I’ve felt misled, placated and left shattered by my results and my experience with Dr. Kwak. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
