CAST REMOVED! 6 Days Post-Op

I love my new nose! I know it’s super swollen but I can already tell it’s going to be beautiful.
So pleased with my results! I have to wear a bandage for an additional 3 weeks to keep things in place (also I was told my nose has thick skin so that worried me a bit but my doctor assured me it’s OK).
I can’t wait to see what it’ll look like in a month!

The tubes are OUT!!

What a feeling! The tubes (stents) were finally removed from my nostrils. Most people said it would hurt but I didn’t feel “pain” just slight discomfort. This whole procedure has been uncomfortable, but not painful. My doctor says it’s because the previous doctor who operated on me for my deviated septum did a really good job and did most of the work. The only thing he messed up was the aesthetics from outside, which is why I got rhinoplasty.

After the tube removal, I’m almost back to normal. I was prescribed saline solution to clean my nostrils every 1-2 hours and Fucicort cream to apply in and around my nose. I feel SO much better and my sleep was great. Still swollen and slightly bruised but I don’t care because I CAN BREATHE!

Day 4 and SWOLLEN!

Wow - extremely swollen and my face looks like a chipmunk but today’s the day I get the stents/tubes removed from my nostrils!
