Did not expect the post surgery healing to be this smooth

It is now 4 months post-op and my uneven (crooked side) is still noticeable. I am trying to be optimistic. I don't want anyone to look at my face because if I notice it they will as well and stare. I have been wearing a mask with the hope that when I wake in the morning this crooked side will be gone. At this point because the swelling has gone down I don't feel it is going to change much.

This is where we are today. I was told I have about 10 percent swelling left. Still getting use to the new look. The photo below show me smiling and the other no smile. The doctor did explain that perfect symmetry would probably not be achievable. The right side looks much better. I am hoping the left side will even out is it showing a little unevenness. Overall I do feel my face is much more photogenic. I was told it would take about a year before all the swelling subsides.

The splint came off today and I have mixed feeling. My profile looks better but I am African American and the nose does not fit my face. I wanted the bulb remove but now I feel the nose is still the star because it does not look natural. I am hoping that the next 6 weeks it will get better. Also the area that was stitch did not close. This concerns me.
