Very Natural Outcome and Friendly Team

I'm from Germany and had ethnic rhinoplasty and buccal fat removal with Dr. Hanege on the 09th of September last year. The surgery itself went very trouble-free, I was most afraid of the pain, but I didn't have any pain afterwards because of the medication, after the surgery it was hard for me to eat for about 3 days and walking was also hard because I felt weak, but I didn't have any other problems than that. If you consider surgery, be aware of that, for example it was also hard for me to turn on my shoes by myself in these three days. Recovery time is very individual, my surgery went flawlessly, I didn't have any problems but of course, not everyone has that much luck.

I think Dr. Hanege is a very realistic doctor that follows the "form follows function" principle. I naturally have a very broad and fleshy nose, when I showed him my wish pics, he told me that he can make my nose smaller but not as small as on the pictures because I wouldn't be able to breathe then. I'm very thankful for his realistic views on my picture, because trust me ladies, after all your health is still most important and if you have a beautiful nose, but you can't breathe, you won't be happy!

When I went to Istanbul, I made a big mistake: I didn't bring the money for the surgery in cash. Ladies and Gentlemen don't make that mistake, I had a lot of trouble because of that! I wanted to draw the money from my bank account, but I could only draw a certain limit, so I didn't have the money on the day of the surgery, had to fly back to Germany to get the money and came back. Even though this caused the team a lot of trouble, everyone was super friendly and understanding towards me, especially Rula was amazing to me and cared for me the whole time, when I went to surgery Yigit accompanied me, so I felt less scared about the surgery and when I tried to call my bank to fix the problem Ali helped me, even when it took hours!

I can really recommend the package deal because you stay in a really beautiful hotel, you get picked up from the airport, and you basically don't have to care about anything because the team will do it for you.

My only criticism is, that nobody explained to me how the rib graft worked. Like I said my surgery went flawlessly but the Dr. didn't explain to me how they take the rib out, what the side effects of that could be etc. Also when I went home, there was a non dissolvable stitch (purple color) in my nose, which I had to pull out myself. Nobody explained that to me and I was lucky to have a friend that had rhinoplasty before me and she explained to me how to pull it out, the doctor didn't tell me about it.

Other than that I'm very happy that I went to Dr. Hanege and would recommend him. Thanks again to the team for being so understanding for my situation, and thanks for the amazing work. My life changed since the surgery because I feel better about my looks, but of course if you have mental problems or other problems in life, surgery won't fix that. Please keep that in mind. Surgery unfortunately will never fix inner problems, so really be sure about it, if you want to do surgery.

Also, Istanbul is a very friendly and beautiful city, and it's worth a visit.
