That said, I want to be honest: the first week after surgery was the hardest part for me, especially mentally. In those early days, I genuinely questioned everything and felt like I’d made a huge mistake. Seeing such a dramatic change to the center of your face can be a real shock to the system.

But once the cast and stitches came off and the swelling started to settle, I gradually began to relax. It’s a journey! Both physical and emotional, but in time, things do come together.
