WORTH IT
I traveled all the way from the USA to Istanbul to visit Dr. Guncel Ozturk after finding many good reviews about him online. I waited to write this review until 2 weeks after my surgery to finally share how I feel about my experience.
First off, I was very happy that Dr Guncel was able to get me in for an appointment so quickly. I inquired a week before for the rhinoplasty, and he was able to get me in immediately a week after which was amazing.
I felt that the price was a bit high for Turkey, but I was willing to pay for the best care possible. And Dr Guncel did not disappoint.
His staff and his office are very professional. They answered all my questions and even on Whatsapp. And his office is located in a beautiful, very fancy area in Istanbul. It was very clean.
The doctor did an amazing job with my nose. You have to understand that in Turkey, when you are choosing a doctor, you are choosing the nose in the photos from their before and afters. Do not go in asking to expect a different result. Good thing I liked the nose in the photos that I have seen by Dr Guncel and that is why I chose him. And even though I am still swollen, I know my nose will look exactly like that. And it looks very natural, which is hard to find.
One thing I will note, is that I wish I had more transparency about the swelling process after rhinoplasty because it’s not easy and it would have made me a bit more relaxed to know that everything will go down.
Other than that, I am very happy with this doctor and I would recommend him again. He truly knows what is best for the patient and works on having the most natural result possible.
