Murray is the Real MVP

This review is long over due but with everything going on—time has basically slipped away. Ok—this man is hands down gifted from God. He spot on made my nose perfect. I essentially underwent rhinoplasty for tip reconstruction. My nose wasn’t terrible but the tip was a bit bulbous so that was the primary focus—I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. He is incredibly talented from start to finish. He doesn’t over do it and keeps your nose true to yourself—if that makes sense. He didn’t drastically alter my nose to look entirely different—simply modified it and perfected it. I will say—post surgery—getting used to your new nose takes time. At first—it’s a bit shocking to see yourself. I had trouble at first. But I am 7 months into the healing journey (it can take up to a year or longer dependent upon skin thickness). I have thin skin so basically—what you see is what you get at my mark and it’s perfect! It’s shaped up so nice!!! It really shaped up about month 5-6 where i really started to love it. The first few months were hard because you are swollen and you are seeing a different version of yourself. But—once the swelling completely dissipates—that’s when you see the magic! Dr. Murray’s bedside manner is spot on—i feel like he’s more of a friend. A friend with exceptional credentials and incredible skills. He was there for me when i was concerned and just a text/phone call away. I also would like to add the procedure itself did not cause me any pain post op. I had zero pain following rhinoplasty. I will say the two biggest inconveniences with this surgery are 1. The time it takes for swelling to go down and 2. I was sick after anesthesia (which is perfectly normal). I had zero packing and basically felt stuffed up with a bad cold for a few weeks. All of this is temporary. The stuffiness goes down and the swelling goes down. My advice would be to really ignore a mirror for a few months (not kidding) and know that as time passes the nose subtly changes. All the subtle changes make a world of difference. All in all—i had a great experience with Dr. Murray and his staff. The anesthesiologist put me at ease ( I was a bit of a basket case right before surgery because I had never been put under) but he told me he would treat me as if I were his daughter and that he did!!) Anybody interested in rhinoplasty, i 100% advise and recommend you to check out Dr. Kim Patrick Murray. He is conservative, thorough, and a perfectionist. My mom has told me time and time again how perfect my nose has turned out and that the man is a genius. Thank you Doctor for all that you have done!
