Love my results already

it’s looking good! no one has noticed at all surprisingly. it changes a little depending on the day because of swelling, and i’m taping it at night which also affects how it looks for a few hours.
one annoying thing is that my nostrils became inflamed with a little infection which looked very red inside the visible part of my nostrils. and the dissolvable stitch that’s inside one of the nostrils is pokey / irritating and has made the columella swell which makes it look a bit long. i think that’s temporary. he prescribed an antibiotic ointment the cleared up the nostril issue.
i gently blew my nose recently and got a small nosebleed which freaked me out. my nose feels sore and fragile a bit but thats getting better every day.
My smile looked REALLY weird to me until the one month mark like my lips didn’t elevate all the way. it’s back to normal now thankfully! i also got my lip filler dissolved which i think was part of that, and it helped a lot.

i feel prettier and more photogenic. the emotional experience is intense though or looking different and having that slightly change every day. like managing expectations of whr your final new face will be. i’m overall very happy!!

he also reduced my nostrils which im very happy about.

I found Dr. C 15 years ago and knew he was the surgeon for me, but I kept delaying getting my nose done because I was too nervous. I finally did it two weeks ago and I can tell I made the best decision ever!!
My original nose was large, crooked & droopy especially when smiling, and one nostril was higher and more retracted than the other.
I really wanted to keep an exotic look - a straight bridge with a supratip break, and if possible, a very small bump on it, because I think it's an interesting feature that I didnt want to lose completely. He basically made my new nose look like a smaller, non-flawed version of itself which fits my face so much better yet still looks like me. It's almost like a beautifying filter. Surgery was a breeze, everyone was really nice to me, and recovery barely hurt at all. Following cast removal last week, I've hardly been swollen and already feel like it looks perfect. I hope it doesn't change too much from here!
I have to admit that the day the cast came off I freaked out for about 24 hours because I was so shocked to see a different nose, and the avatar-swelling between my eyes gave an illusion that it was really small and somewhat upturned, which isn't true. I literally almost fainted from shock!! But by the next day, I took off the tape to get a closer look, and I fell in love with it. I can't believe how normal it already looks now.
Dr. C has been extremely soothing and a good listener throughout the whole process, and I feel like he did exactly what I asked for. He's obviously amazing at rhinoplasty and I'm very impressed.
