Life-changing Results

I learned to work around a nose that was too large and too bumpy for nearly 40 years. After wanting to fix my nose for nearly 24 years, I finally had the resources to have it done right, and sought out the best surgeon for the job. In this, I found Dr Weintraub and with his care, I received the nose I dreamt of and had never thought possible.
I did my research and knew Dr Weintraub was well-known for rhinoplasty. Other factors I considered essential were an understanding that I wanted a beautiful nose, one that fit my face but I did not want someone else’s vision of beautiful. I also wanted attention to details: personal attention including detailed pre- and post-op follow-through from the doctor, hands-on instruction from Dr Weintraub’s amazing ‘project manager’ Jill Sand, and access to Dr. Weintraub’s personal cell phone just in case I should need it.
I cannot express how amazing the entire experience was, including the quality of care provided, the ease of recovery, and the shocking results which are even more beautiful than I ever imagined.
Within 24 hours of the surgery I was back at work, which fortunately was work from home. I took almost no pain medication the entire time; I took one oxycodone the day of - that’s it. I didn’t need anything else. I followed Jill’s detailed pre and post-op instructions to the letter, and I know that helped. By day 3 I felt comfortable outside the apartment. I’ve had 2 post-op follow ups so far: day 4 to remove stints, and day 9 to remove bandages and cut loose a few stitches. I will be going back for a 3rd post-op at day 16 to ensure the stitches are healing well (from photos you should be able to see that they are).
I have to say: Dr Weintraub is at the top of his field and has been for many years, and, it shows. My old nose proved a complicated surgery just due to its sheer size. Some folks are blessed to have minor issues that can be handled with a closed rhinoplasty. My surgery was open, to remove substantial projection and the massive bone growth that formed the hump. The day of my surgery, I told my husband he would probably be able to pick me up within 3 hours or so, but the surgery took closer to 6 hours. I know this was because Dr Weintraub took great care to get my new nose absolutely perfect. The new projection, the very slight remnant of a bump that I asked for to ensure the nose was true to me, the reduced nostrils, the taper in lieu of the bulbous tip, all elements have come together perfectly.
I’m still swollen at the bridge and top just due to the fact that it’s only been two weeks, but I felt so compelled to write a review, I just couldn’t wait. I’m so happy with what this nose has given me: confidence in my beauty and confidence I never knew I had.

Your doctor did a great job. Your results are pretty but you still look like you not a different person. He seems pretty expensive for a primary surgery. I wonder what he charges for a revision?

I’m not sure costs for revision rhinoplasty but I know that is one of his specialties. Regarding the cost, to be honest it was not really a factor in my decision. The most important details for me were the quality of care, Dr. Weintraub’s experience and reputation and his history of amazing results. For something that literally changed my whole appearance, I did not want cost to be a driver and sacrifice what was important. Hope that helps. Good luck!

I had my surgery on dec 1. The results are so noticeable only minor adjustments seem to remain: complete healing of scars and elimination of any remaining swelling. The recovery has been seamless. I would say the only thing that has slightly surprised me is that the swelling hasn’t gone down 100%. I wear glasses at night and they have made indents in my bridge that seem semi permanent, but I know will go away soon. I was told the final result won’t really reveal itself until the 6-12 month mark. But right now, I’m super happy. Once every few days I put a little rubbing alcohol on the scars / stitch lines just to make sure they are completely bacteria free, just in case.
Beautiful results, congrats!
