Email denial of infection - Read young's reply below
I wrote this to young on April 23, 2013:
"Hi Dr. Young,
It’s been a week since last injections. The tip of my nose is still quite round and hard. It’s smelling worse when I lightly rub and squeeze the tip or wipe it out with Q-tip. It’s drained some smelly pus about times out of left nostril—not every time that I squeeze, but most times, I get little bits of pus and some light blood out of both nostrils when I dab at insides with tissue.
I’m continuing to squeeze every day, but it’s quite sore. Maybe the old infection never completely cleared? I just don’t know – it’s not hot to the touch, but it is still swollen at tip.
Thanks.
Linda K. "

His reply: "Can you come in asap this week for us to take a look. Your nose was not infected at any time. I was just worried about the fluid. It wasn’t infected the last time you were in either. Let’s look and see."
So did he give you your money back at least ? So sorry you had to go through this . And I know that after this type of ordeal it takes god himself to fix things perfectly .
No, no refund. My husband and I borrowed the money for this and for the surgeries with our new doctor.
Thanks for asking though and for your concern, young' assistant offered my husband $1,200 in an email but only if we would sign a waiver to release them of responsibility.
Do not sign a waiver or a non disclosure . I was in your situation but at least the dr refunded what I paid him . Shame on your dr . Continue . You should also file a claim on complaints board . That way whenever anyone googles him it will come up . I'm so sorry you had this happen . I had to borrow money to fix my nose also because I needed rib and was very expensive .
he is already under investigation by the wa dept of health based in complaints of four others with infections. His license is restricted until a final decision is made. Check google. I am filing a complaint also.
What a horrible horrible human being to not even refund you on top of the damage that he has caused.
You should look for an attorney and try to see if you can sue or anything.
You should see an infectious disease specialist because you could have a recurring infection from the sutures in your nose or something worse that could eat away at your tissue even more. I'm not trying to scare you but see other specialist.
I hate how some doctor's will deny their f ups until the end even when they are clearly staring them in the face.

Thank you, we're taking proper action. I am seeing a great dr. who properly treated the infection and has performed surgery to rebuild her nose.
Good, I'm glad. I really feel for you and pray that you will be able to get this all resolved and end up with a beautiful nose.
Thank you, I am working on looking and feeling better.
This is just despicable. I hope he is not doing anymore surgery! I wish you seeked second opinion within 2 months of ongoing complications, this might have prevented further infections, if bacteria was identified in time, treated, nose might have healed thus saved you so much misery. You poor thing. my heart breaks for you.
