Extremely Disappointing
$10,000
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Shahriar Mabourakh. A couple of years ago, I went to him for a rhinoplasty to remove a hump from my nose. I was charged $8,500 and underwent general anesthesia for the first open surgery, but the hump was not fixed.
Dr. Mabourakh then decided to shave it down with local anesthesia and charged me $500, but the hump remained. On the third attempt, he charged another $400, and still, there was no improvement. Last month, I had a consultation to discuss my options, which cost me $85. He told me that due to the thick skin on the tip of my nose, I need another surgery under general anesthesia, costing an additional $5,000. Wait What !!!
I have spent $10K, endured three surgeries, and dealt with the inconvenience of not being able to work during recovery, all without achieving the desired results. Dr. Mabourakh’s services have been a costly and frustrating ordeal. I strongly advise against seeking his services and expertise.
