Update- had revision
Just wanted to update that I did have a revision but with Dr. Andrew Frankel. He said my nose from the inside was super messed up from my previous rhinoplasty and it was complicated and I already look better now. I’m just really surprised Dr. Grigoryants said, by feeling my nose, that my previous surgeon did “a great job” and that there would be nothing to fix and my nose would just end up worse if I did do a revision. My other doctor could feel that my septum, weirdly, was stitched together from my previous rhinoplasty that Dr. Grigoryants could not tell. In my advice, Dr. Grigoryants is not the doctor for revisions and if you’re considering one, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Honest Opinion
I waited maybe 3-4 months for my consultation, got there, waited an hour just for Dr. Grigoryants to say my nose is wide because of my thick skin. He pointed out how my cartilage and nose underneath was actually very small but my thick skin makes it much bigger than it is. I was looking for a rhinoplasty revision and he told me he wouldn't operate on me because another surgery would either leave my nose the same or it could become worse. I was kind of bummed but he is an honest doctor who isn't just looking for money otherwise he could've taken mine, so if you want an honest opinion go to him! Super kind and great bedside manners.
