Highly Recommend Dr Öreroglu and His Team.
My experience with the entire clinic was excellent overall. I’m still processing the whole experience, so it’s difficult to put into words, but I will try.
My nose was previously broken and damaged, I had wanted it fixed for over 10 years. I just couldn’t find the courage to trust someone to do it.
Research
After a lot of research, I decided to put my trust in Dr Örero?lu. My decision was based on the reviews, the natural-looking results in his photographs, and, most importantly, his qualifications. What reassured me most was seeing evidence of his continued work in the field and that he remains actively involved in advancing his speciality.
This may not be important to everyone, but I have a science background myself. I know that someone can gain their qualifications and then simply continue practising, which is absolutely fine. However, seeing Dr Örero?lu’s continued professional development and his respected position within the field gave me confidence that this wasn’t just a job to him—it reflected genuine passion, authenticity, and commitment to his profession. That was incredibly important to me.
Consultation
I had already had a lengthy Zoom consultation before travelling, and when I arrived in Istanbul I had a face-to-face appointment with Dr Örero?lu. We discussed the problems with my nose and what I wanted to achieve. He was honest about what was realistically possible, and together we agreed on what could be achieved. I appreciated that he managed my expectations rather than promising something unrealistic.
I attended the hospital for bloods and to meet the anaesthesiologist, he was very pleasant and spoke highly of the surgeon. I think an anaesthesiologist can be overlooked sometimes, so I would like to thank him for keeping me alive.
Surgery
The day of my surgery went completely smoothly. Everything was professional, organised, and I wasn’t in any pain afterwards. The nurses responded almost immediately whenever I pressed my call button, everyone was friendly, and I always felt well looked after.
I was also visited by a nurse from Dr Örero?lu’s clinic, and later by the lovely girls from the office, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. It made me feel genuinely cared for rather than just being another patient. I didn’t have to wait for prescriptions, everything ran like clockwork.
Recovery in Istanbul
I recovered at the hotel and remained in regular contact with the secretaries and nursing team throughout my 10-day stay. They were always available to answer my questions and were consistently kind and reassuring. I also had several face-to-face follow-up appointments with Dr Örero?lu, which gave me additional confidence throughout my recovery.
Cast Removal
I was actually more nervous on the day my cast was removed than I was on the day of the surgery itself.
During the operation, Dr Örero?lu discovered that the damage to my nose was worse than had been anticipated beforehand, which made the surgery more complex. Naturally, I prepared myself for the possibility that the outcome might not fully match what I had hoped for.
When the cast came off, I was genuinely speechless.
Even though it was only days after surgery and I knew there was a lot of swelling, I could immediately see that my nose was exactly what I had asked for. It was such an emotional moment, and I honestly could have cried.
Personally, I think rhinoplasty is one of the most nerve-racking procedures someone can undergo because the result has such a significant impact on your life. Your face is always visible, and the changes are largely permanent. That is exactly why I spent so many years putting it off and why I researched my surgeon so thoroughly. I was far more selective with my choice of surgeon for this procedure than I think I would have been for any other cosmetic surgery.
Recovery
I know I still have months of healing ahead of me, and I’m continuing to follow all of Dr Örero?lu’s instructions carefully.
I’m extremely grateful to Dr Örero?lu and to the wonderful team at the clinic and hospital. Every interaction I had with them was kind, professional, reassuring, and pleasant. They were always available whenever I had questions, and that level of support meant a great deal to me.
I’m very excited to continue watching my results develop over the coming months, and I look forward to updating this review with my final outcome.
If you’re considering rhinoplasty, my advice would be to take your time, do your research, and choose a surgeon whose qualifications, experience, and results give you complete confidence. For me, that made all the difference.
