Very Happy With My Results
WORTH IT
I travelled from Canada to Turkey in April 2026 to have my rhinoplasty and chin liposuction. Travelling to another country for surgery was a big decision for me, especially because this was my first surgery, but I’m very happy that I chose Dr. Aykut Cakir.
I was naturally nervous and had a lot of questions before and after my surgery. What I really appreciated was how patient and responsive the entire team was. Whether I had questions about medications, aftercare, healing, or anything else I was worried about, they were always available and responded very quickly. I never felt like I was bothering them, even though I had A LOT of questions.
Everything was very organized and explained clearly, so I knew what to expect and felt prepared going into surgery. The aftercare instructions were also very clear, and I always knew what I needed to do during my recovery.
During my consultation, Dr. Aykut Cakir discussed a few different options with me. I wasn’t completely sure which option would be best, so I decided to trust his experience and professional recommendation. I’m really glad I did! He listened to what I wanted while also recommending what he thought would look best for me. My results honestly turned out even better than I expected.
The surgery went really well, I had no complications, and the healing process was much easier and smoother than I had imagined. The first day was probably the hardest for me, but after that I felt surprisingly good.
The hospital was great, the staff were very kind, and I felt well taken care of. There were also no unexpected costs or surprises.
The one thing I would personally do differently is get the full package that includes transportation. I didn’t choose the transportation package initially, but looking back, I definitely would. I think it would make things even easier, especially after surgery.
It has now been several months since my surgery, and I’m still very happy with my results. Dr. Aykut Cakir is incredibly talented and skilled, and I would highly recommend him. If I had to make the decision again, I would choose him without hesitation. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner!
