So Happy with my Experience!

I want to write a very detailed review because these were very helpful in my research when looking for the best surgeon

I spent months conducting research, looking at every review, forum, group looking for the best ENT surgeon to fit my needs. I really knew Dr. Simsek was the absolute best choice. His surgical skill and artistic eye combined to make a naturally aesthetic nose that is tailored to the facial balance of each individual patient is what stood out to me the most.

I was booked in advance for months feeling great and then the night before I was supposed to fly from the U.S. to Istanbul I suddenly got so much anxiety and was considering backing out. My sister was coming with me and she said let’s just go and if you back out we can still have a sister trip. I told myself that if I didn’t feel good after the in person consultation that I wouldn’t pressure myself if I didn’t feel comfortable because these feelings are completely normal. But when I went into my in person consultation all my fears and doubts melted away when I met and spoke with Dr. Simsek and his assistant Tunahan. I felt like I was with the kindest and caring team with the most professionalism.

I didn’t have a dream nose in mind but I expressed my concerns about wanting de projection and nasal tip refinement and I was amazed when the Dr. took my requests and went to work on the the 3D mock up and I was very impressed on how I loved what he created straight away.

My surgery went great and the hospital stay was easy. I will say it’s so helpful to have a friend or family member come with you, my sister was so helpful in early recovery.

On my second day post op I was still recovering from the anesthesia and I threw up and felt like I might have a fever so we borrowed a head thermometer from the hotel and it said I had a fever so I contacted Tunahan at like 9pm on New Years Eve and he replied instantly, he asked how far away I was from the hospital just in case and called Dr. Simsek. The Dr. instructed me to do some steps before trying my temperature again and it turned out the wetness from oil on my face gave a false reading and I was just having some body temperature fluctuation from the anesthesia recovery. This is an example of how amazing their communication is and took my concerns seriously even though it was late New Year’s Eve and they were probably with family and friends. That was a true and telling example of how they care about their patients.

I stayed In the hotel for the first three days with the icing schedule but then up until cast removal we went out and explored so much of Istanbul.

On cast removal day when the Dr. removed my splints, tons of air filled my airways and lungs and I was overjoyed. One of my biggest fears was breathing because I’m an athlete and it’s a very important need with my sports. Dr. Simsek told me during my consultation I had a slight deviation in each nostril and I would breath better after the surgery. I thought maybe he meant after months of healing I would breathe better but I didn’t realize he meant straight away! Now I’m 14 days post op and my airways have never been so incredibly clear in my life.

Today I was able to take off my tape that I’ve had on for a week and seeing my new nose I absolutely love the shape. Of course there is swelling but the overall shape and de projection he was able to accomplish looks amazing and more feminine. I am so excited to watch the swelling disappear and see my final results.

I could not have asked for a better doctor and team. There is a reason that men and women travel from every corner of the world to see Dr. Simsek. He is truly the best in this profession.
