WORTH IT
Dr. Mabourakh had performed my rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty in one session. This was my very first surgery and interestingly enough I felt quite confident with the doctor's skills after seeing before and after photos of his work on other patients. He allowed me to tell him exactly what I wanted, and was very honest with me about what surgeries I did not need. He strives for his patients to look natural and he achieved that very well. His staff is very kind and helpful and everyone is very professional. I am extremely happy with my results, a thousand times the improvement than what I had prior to surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Mabourakh for such surgeries. He was great. My experience was easy, and I didn't even need pain meds. I healed quickly and my scars are mostly faded after 3 months post surgery. I'm so grateful I found him, and I would encourage anyone interested in surgery to take a look at his work and his credentials and you will be pleased.

For the most part, no. The scar underneath my nose and on my eyelids faded pretty quickly on their own. I do have a tiny scar at the corner of my eye that's the size of a grain of rice, and for that I use silicone gel to fade it out. It seems to be working well.
This is not a fake review, and I did show him a photo of the nose I wanted, and he did take note, but also told me that every individual and their bone structure is different, the way people heal is different thus nothing will be exactly like the photos we showed him. However I think he came extremely close to what I wanted and once I am fully healed after one year, I'll be able to report my results thoroughly. And yes, he is direct and straight to the point. I would assume he has the same conversations multiple times a day everyday so he's not a man of many words. But he does listen and he always asks if you have questions or concerns. And one more thing, I don't believe he just "wants your money." This was my first surgery ever, and I was asking for other procedures I wanted done, and he was quick to tell me that I didn't need a brow lift, nor did I need a lip lift and that the results would be unsatisfactory for me. If he only wants money, he could have easily said yes to everything I asked for. But he seemed more concerned for my outcome and wanted me to look natural and confident after surgery. And that's what I found appealing about him as a surgeon as well as his credentials and experience. But you can think what you like.
