Yes, She Really is That Good!

Before surgery: When I was searching online for a plastic surgeon to operate on my nose, I was blown away by the overwhelmingly positive response from Dr. Liotta's patients on all review platforms. No other doctor that I came across had the same degree of patient satisfaction and a lack of negative reviews. A combination of that and being very impressed with her rhinoplasty galleries on Instagram and on her website, I made a consultation immediately. Her office staff was super efficient and got me an appointment that same month. After I met Dr. Liotta, though I was nervous, I felt that I made the right decision. She is warm, funny, and has a wonderful bedside manner. She took pictures of me during the consultation and edited them to give me a rough visual of some of the changes I envisioned for myself. Something that I thought was really exceptional was that she gave me her cell phone number (yes HER number, not to the office or a nurse's number) to text her if I had any questions/found any nose inspiration pictures.

During surgery: Dr. Liotta told me she would be basing my nose off of some of the nose inspiration pictures that I sent her (and we both agree that we think my nose looks even better)! The morning of the surgery, I met separately with the OR nurse, Dr. Liotta, and the anesthesiologist to go over questions, concerns, etc. She has an all-female staff, which honestly made me feel even more comfortable. They rubbed my arms, held my hand, and we joked about Netflix shows right before I went under. It was honestly such a pleasant atmosphere that I almost forgot I was about to get surgery.

After surgery: I think most people stay in the recovery room for an hour or two, but my body needed more time to metabolize the anesthesia, so I was there for about four hours. I kid you not, the recovery nurse Genevieve stayed with me essentially THE ENTIRE TIME. There were other patients recovering at that point because I had stayed so late, but Genevieve stayed with me any spare moment that she could and Dr. Liotta and the anesthesiologist checked up on me very frequently too while they were between surgeries. Genevieve and I spent the day chatting about career goals and vegan diets. Again, it was so pleasant that I almost forgot I just had surgery! Once I went home, Dr. Liotta texted me that night to see how I was doing and she also texted the next morning too. When I was worried about my throat feeling scratchy on my second night, I texted her (around 9 pm on a Thursday night) and within minutes she gave me advice on a reflux medicine to try. When I was still nervous about my throat later, she CALLED me, again within minutes, at 11 pm on weeknight to give me more advice and listen to my concerns. In my 23 years of life, I've never met another doctor who is so present and caring to his/her patients that he/she would do that.

Now I'm about five weeks out and I LOVE my result. Everything about this experience was so positive that I felt I needed to write a review about it. Beyond the kindness of her and her staff, the surgery truly changed my life. I've been so insecure about my nose for my whole life and to have a new nose that looks completely natural and works just as perfectly as before is a surreal feeling. Thank you to Dr. Liotta for giving me the nose I was always meant to have. Seriously, she is worth every penny!

Wanted to add these pics too after someone wrote for them in the comments. They are from the same time as the first pic that I posted (one month after surgery), so they all have some swelling to the nose still. Now, (about 2.5 months out), my nose looks a bit slimmer, but these pictures can still give an accurate idea of my changes.
