Dr. Muhammet Dilber and his team were nothing short of remarkable. Words feel inadequate when trying to describe how passionate, attentive, and genuinely caring he is, not just about his craft, but about you as a person.
From the very first moment, the experience felt personal. My initial visit began with bloodwork, and that's where I met the wonderful Nurshen, one of Dr. Dilber's assistants. She was extremely kind and thorough, and took real time to walk me through every step of the process, medications included, with thoughtfulness that immediately put me at ease.
When I finally sat down with Dr. Dilber himself, he walked me through his entire plan with clarity and confidence. It was very clear given his experience that he knows what's best and provides very clear and realistic expectations, while giving plenty of room to hear your thoughts and concerns.
This entire process was made all the more beautiful by his translator and personal assistant, Kubra. Kubra was a gift throughout this whole journey. Every question, every concern, every anxious moment, she was there, steady and reassuring, from the very first appointment to the last. She even took us out to coffee and sat down with my husband and I and helped us experience a bit of life in Turkey firsthand.
What truly moved me throughout all of this though, was an unexpected moment during my consultation. Dr. Dilber noticed my husband Colton had been struggling with his breathing even after a previous septoplasty that had only partially helped.
In a very rare gesture of pure generosity that I don't think either of us will ever forget, he performed Colton's septoplasty at no charge alongside my rhinoplasty because of how poor his breathing was and how quickly he knew he could fix it. And it didn't end in the operating room, he continued following up personally in the days after to make sure Colton was recovering and breathing well. My husband can breathe freely now because of him.
As for my nose, my NEW nose, he has genuinely changed my life. They were extremely thorough and helpful throughout the entire process, flexible, knew how I would feel and what I needed, and the process was very smooth, I healed very well because of their guidance, and I am overwhelmingly thankful.
I came to Istanbul hoping for a result. I left with something I didn't expect, which was a team of people who made me feel completely cared for, start to finish.
