In need of revision most likely

I'm afraid the original issues I found with the asymmetry of my nostrils is only getting worse. It seems the graft that was placed in my left nostril is now out of place and causing very awful distortion when looking at the nose from the front.

My Nose Looks Incredible!

I waited 7 months before posting my review. I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Freeman in March of 2023. It is now October and I am still just as thrilled as the first time my cast came off. I originally opted for this procedure to fix my crooked septum and refine the overall shape of my nose. Dr. Freeman excelled my expectations and I am breathing better than ever. There have been ups and downs with swelling of the nose but that is to be expected as the healing process progresses. I also want to add - The Only Faces team are informative, polite and very communicative. Overall, I am so glad to have gotten this procedure with Dr. Freeman and his team and highly recommend him for your cosmetic procedures!

Overall rating

I have shared a few reviews on and off throughout my recovery process. Now that I am one year and six months post-operation, I want to write a more conclusive review of my experience. Overall, I have very mixed feelings about my results. While my nose is slightly straighter than before, it still drifts off to the left side of my face. Even more concerning, my left nostril has collapsed and has been ever since the packing was taken out of my nose ten days after surgery. I was assured this was due to swelling but here we are 18 months later and the issue has only gotten worse. This causes a very deformed appearance when looking at my nose from the front. To add to this, the columella of my nose still appears deviated despite getting a septorhinoplasty to correct septum deviation. I returned to the office in March of 2024 for a 'plication' to correct this. Unfortunately, that did not ultimately straighten anything, it only served to hide the part of my septum that was visible in my collapsed nostril. Apart from this one follow-up procedure, Dr. Freeman has been reluctant to acknowledge the severity of my nasal collapse. In my final visit, when I expressed all of these concerns I was told I need not return to the office and to accept the nose I was given. For the money I paid and the trouble I have gone through to seek a resolution, I do not ultimately feel this procedure was worth it. I hope this review helps to inform those looking to get a rhinoplasty in the Charlotte area.
