I am an actress, model and former Miss Nevada USA and I had consultations with multiple surgeons before deciding on Khorsandi. I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Khorsandi in August of 2015. Not only did he charge me thousands of dollars but he billed my insurance after I had already paid in full upfront. My insurance would have covered my entire procedure because I had such a severe deviated septum. The insurance sent him a check for $9,500 which was over the amount he REQUIRED me to pay in FULL before the surgery. I feel like you get what you pay for and I wouldn't complain if he did a decent job on my nose but he made it MORE crooked then it already was before. I wanted him to thin out the bridge of my nose. I couldn't tell how my nose would look due to it being so swollen after surgery. I only had two follow up appointments with Dr. Khorsandi after the procedure and when I had asked about refunding me for the procedure since my insurance had ALSO paid him he would no longer see me as a patient. Double billing is ILLEGAL. He really made me believe he was THE best in town for rhinoplasty so I decided to go with him. After the swelling had gone down, my nose was in FACT crooked. I had gone to see several other plastic surgeons and they told me that he took off too much on one side of my bridge and not enough on the other side. My nose was also flat on my face and he didn't build the bridge up at all. It also curved to the left after surgery. This whole situation has just been totally UNFAIR and it required me to get ANOTHER revision rhinoplasty which costed me TWICE as much!!! Unfortunately in the state of Nevada the patient only has up to one year to take any legal action after the surgery has happened in order for them to do anything about it. It was too late for me and I still have a terrible visible scar on my nose that my new surgeon had to correct. Khorsandi did such a TERRIBLE job on my nose that it was going to collapse if I didn't have it redone. For my revision I had to have cartilage taken from my rib and put into my nose because it was so messed up. This whole situation could have been resolved but Khorsandi is just too greedy. He didn't want to see or help me and did not even offer to fix my nose. NEVER EVER give these plastic surgeons your insurance. If you have any more questions please feel free to reach out to me. This was an AWFUL experience and I hope no one has to go through this!!!!!
