Rhinoplasty & Lower face lift
Nose swelling comes and goes. My swelling around my eyes is starting to go away. And I am starting to see more definition in my nose and my face is looking a little more like it belongs to me and not so wide and tight. I still can't feel the sides of my face but all the feeling in the middle is good except the tip of my nose. I'm trying not to wear much makeup since I have to put Vaseline on the stitches and it gets all over when wearing the mask. I put on lashes the other day to feel a little more normal but the Vaseline even had those sliding off. Can't wait to see the outcome..trust the process!
Rhinoplasty, Lower face lift
Day 12. Feeling much better swelling is down some..but it comes and goes with activity. Tried to work day 7 it wasn't a good idea lasted 4 hours went home wiped out and swollen up. Take it easy for the 2 weeks. Listen to your Dr. Today was the first day I've had good energy and strength. I do go back to work tomorrow to work 8 hours. Then have my next Post-op day after to check healing and get a facial by my Drs Esthetician. They have taken great care of me Dr Eytan is the best. I couldn't have planned this out better. We are still wearing masks in my state so I figure I have a few more weeks to cover up the swelling and slight bruises
Rhinoplasty, Lower face lift
Rhinoplasty, Lower face lift update.. Day 6. Went to see ENT Dr. Rimmer..to take a look at my nasal passages and get them sucked out. My surgeon put in dissolvable packing. And I flushed twice a day for the first three days with a Nasal Saline bottle real nothing went anywhere except for down the sink and clear the crusties away from the outside. on day four I step it up to a Netipot and could tell it was going up a little more but still plugged. I didn't want to blow my nose because of my Rhinoplasty and implant. So on day 5 I got out the big guns..my waterpic has a nasal attachment..it was like they opened the dam. Cleared the passage water going through both sides and everything felt like it came out.. best feeling ever. So tired of waking up all night out of breath feeling because I can't breathe. My ENT also insert a nasal steroid patch during surgery to help the healing and longer term effects of the functional part of this surgery. May the 4th time be the ticket to success. Day 7. Cast Off!!! WOW just wow I can't believe how different I look. I need to rename myself because when I look in the mirror I am like who is that..it is so strange!! Cast off...starting my nose exercises to stimulate the bone to attach. 3 times a day, I place both of my index fingers, fingers directed towards my face on to my face next to my nose, very firmly along the sides of my nose .. like (ll) and pull out along the sides of the nose. It is uncomfortable but my doctor said it should be.. Repeat over and over. I do it 3 to 10 min. You can do it more than 3x a day but she said it needs to be done at least that many times a day. I might see if I can add a video to explain how it should be done. It is hard to explain and even feels akward and strange at first and takes a few tries to get it down
