Choosing a plastic surgeon for my septorhinoplasty was a monumental decision—one that would profoundly impact both my physical and mental well-being. I was understandably nervous, especially given the complexity of my case (please see the before and after photos below - 1 month post op). After extensive research, I found Dr. Anil Shah, and from our first consultation, I knew I had made the right choice.
Dr. Shah's expertise was evident as I needed a perforation in my septum repaired—a challenging procedure involving an open septorhinoplasty with rib grafts and the use of a pericranial flap. Upon entering his office, I felt an immediate sense of reassurance. The entire team, from the friendly front desk staff to the patient coordinator Elise and the nursing staff, Kailyn & Chrissy, were incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and welcoming.
Dr. Shah dedicated an hour and a half to thoroughly explain the procedure, discussing both its benefits and risks while patiently answering all my questions. I am thrilled to report that my severe breathing issues have been completely resolved.
Two weeks before my surgery, I received an in-depth phone call from Nurse Kailyn, and I continued to receive attentive follow-up calls from RNs Kailyn and Chrissy post-op. Dr. Shah and his team were always accessible, which is a rarity in this field. Their commitment to post-operative care and ongoing support gave me peace of mind, knowing that any potential issues would be swiftly addressed.
