Where do I start! I’ll start with my journey of finding the right surgeon in the United States.
I can truthfully say that I’ve seen 42 surgeons in the United States within the last 10 years. Some were extremely expensive, had unrealistic visions, many offered to do the surgery for free for publicity/social media. I was not confident nor convinced.
Just before putting down a deposit with a well known surgeon in NYC who’s known for working with ethnic patients, I came across Dr. Bora’s instagram. I immediately booked a consultation. During my consultation I heard the key sentence I wanted to hear “I can’t do too much reduction, otherwise it will not look natural”. I booked my surgery quickly after.
My experience:
Till this day I feel like it’s too good to be true. The experience was AMAZING! The office coordinator was excellent, the consistent communication between the medical team and patient is out of this world.
Dr.Bora took his time and explained what the plan will be. Very detailed information. Not one ounce of arrogance. Very calm , soft spoken, just a charismatic man.
This was my first time under anesthesia. I felt absolutely no pain. I had a slight headache about 6 hours after surgery but the nurse on duty took care of that immediately.
I’m about a month out from surgery and although I’m not fully recovered, the procedure was certainly worth it. I would do it all over again if I had the chance.
