Duncan Atherton Saved my Life

Big title, I know. But after Dr. Santdeep Paun botched my rhinoplasty I got so depressed and negative about everything I thought I would never recover my confidence or even have a "normal" life.

Duncan agreed to fix it on the NHS (thanks to Paun I had an extremely deviated septum and breathing difficulties) and from the start his manner, his professionalism, his concern, everything about him just felt authentic. I easily trusted him. He did not disappoint. He virtually held my hand all the way, and the results were fantastic. I even had a little scar tissue build up after which he very quickly brought me back in to do a (much less intrusive) op to remove it.

Several years later I'm still happy with the result. It's not perfect, there is some deviation but to be fair I had a lot of scar tissue prior to the op and some deviation going back even to a prior rhinoplasty in my early teenage years for a broken nose again.

Duncan's speciality is children with cleft lip, but don't let that put you off - he is an expert with nose ops in general. It's just that he's chosen to help children and families have better lives and I like that about him too.

Cannot recommend him highly enough.

This was a really nice review to read thank you for sharing and glad you have got your confidence back! He seems like a genuinely nice person.
Hi. What was the process to get the treatment done on the NHS? The Cadogan clinic only accepts self funded patients (not even insurance funded); did you pay for a private consultation and then discuss treatment on the NHS? Or did you go through NHS initially?

I currently have a private referral to see someone about potential septoplasty (perhaps septorhinoplasty).

Thanks
I went through NHS. My nose was broken in a sporting accident.
Wow! Saw your other review, and you definitely made the right choice. He did a GREAT job on your revision - nose looks SO good!!
EDIT: Right choice going to someone else...
