Here is my honest review on my rhinoplasty with Dr. Sanaz Harirchian.
I contacted the team on July 2022. I was asked to send pictures of my nose so Dr. Sanaz could take a look at it. She decided to do a consultation over the phone and never even asked me to see the side view (huge red flag) she basically said she could fix it and make it the way I wanted. She sent me morphed images of my side profile and I loved the way they looked. The nose looked so much smaller, straight, and upturned (in a good way). I immediately fell in love and decided to go through with the procedure. She was very nice during the phone call but didn't pay much attention to detail or ask me for any inspo pictures which was the first sign she wasn’t even paying attention to what I wanted.
She scheduled my surgery for August 5th 2022 and I never spoke to her until that date. (I did drive from Kansas and it was over 9 hours plus I had to pay for hotel stay; which that's irrelevant but it did add to my frustration as to why I wasted my time and money)
On August 5, 2022 I came in and talked to her before my procedure very briefly. They did not do any blood work/lab work beforehand. (Red flag) They put me to sleep and I woke up in pain (normal). She sent me a surgery table video and my nose looked better at first glance but still different from her morph. Fast forward a week later I drive back to Texas to get my cast off. I didn't like it as soon as I saw it but she said it was just swollen and the cast was the reason why there was an indentation. I took her word for it and followed her instructions for months.
I contacted her on October 1, 2022 and told her my profile from the right side was way different from the left side and how the nostril was bigger on one side and even bigger when I smiled. She said she couldn't tell from the video (which btw was VERY noticeable). She didn't offer a solution or reassurance so I decided to give it more time to heal.
I contacted her AGAIN on March 24th 2023. Over 7 months later from my surgery date. I sent her a close up video of my nose with all angles stating "I’m over half a year post up and my nose looks extremely crooked and uneven. My nostril on the left side looks very flared and the tip is bulbous and droopy. I understand it’s not 100% healed but the results aren’t looking like I imagined they would"
Again she said she couldn't tell but maybe she could look at it in person (I have to drive 9hours there and back & pay for an appointment also.) She never offered a solution or explanation.
It is now March 10th 2024. 19 months post op. Over a year post up. And my nose healed but in a terrible way. Ended up with a collapsed valve. It's hard to breathe from the left nostril. My left nostril is a lot smaller than my right one. The Right nostril is huge and looks terrible both from the side and front. My nose is still crooked and droopy but now I have indentations and ridges on the bridge of my nose. Not to mention the tip of my nose is drooped down and bulbous at that. I'm so upset. Definitely not worth almost $11,000. And for better results I could've looked for a different surgeon in a different state because I would have rather drove 9 hours somewhere else. (Keep in mind I had to drive there and back multiple times to get my cast off and for the procedure/followup)
Honestly at this point I can't even tell people I had a nose job because they would think I'm joking about it with how crooked and weird my nose looks.
I hope this review helps someone and they decide to do their research and find someone who knows what they are doing before letting them touch their face.
