UPDATED FROM tracyspring
Twelve week (?) follow up appointment photos
Super happy so far! These are from my first follow up after the cast removal appointment. I understand I still have a good amount of swelling, and that with time the tip will become even more refined. Can’t wait to see how things progress!

Dr. Murray is an Artist. He’s Passionate About Noses and Takes His Time to Sculpt the Perfect Nose for Your Face.
I am thrilled that I chose Dr. Murray to do my rhinoplasty. It was something I wanted for years but was nervous about it being done right. I’m really a perfectionist. Dr. Murray’s photos made it clear that he is not only a talented surgeon, but he has a beautiful aesthetic vision for noses. I booked a consult.
He is kind and professional and values your input. He made up pictures for me of how my nose would look after. I set a date and made the preparations necessary to have surgery.
Two days before surgery, Dr. Murray called me himself to go over the specifics of how we would manage my pain. I take medications that conflict with the usual pain management he prescribes, so he was concerned for my comfort. I was amazed that he called me himself, and it made me feel even more confident in my choice.
The day of the surgery the nurses prepping me gushed about how great Dr. Murray is at what he does. They told me that he really takes his time to get everything perfect. He spent a lot of time with me before the surgery, going over my thoughts and explaining his vision.
He checked in with me when I was waking up from surgery. I was in a little pain, but that was to be expected. (It was mostly my throat that hurt from the breathing tube they had placed during surgery—not his doing anyway.)
Dr. Murray texted me later that evening and a couple of days later to check up on me. He told me if I needed anything or had any questions to text him. That was quite reassuring, and it made me feel like he really cared about my comfort and progress. He also sent me a little video of my nose before and after the surgery. That was really exciting, as my nose was in a cast and I couldn’t see it yet.
I spent a week in the nose cast, breathing through little tubes that were placed in my nostrils and looking a bit bruised. Nothing that I didn’t expect. I watched a ton of television, slept sitting up, ate soft foods, etc. The pain and bruising improved a bit every day.
When my cast was removed a week later, I saw that what those nurses had told me was correct. I was overjoyed to see the nose Dr. Murray had sculpted for me. It didn’t look fake or overly done. It really looked like my nose, only much better, which is precisely what I wanted. I started to well up a bit, simply because it was more than I could’ve imagined, and I was overjoyed. (Also, it looked almost exactly like the computer generated “after” photo he had shown me at my consult. It actually looks a bit better, lol.)
He took photos of me and asked if I wanted to see them. I hate looking at pictures of myself usually, so I said no at first. Lol. I did look, however, and even with some bruising left under my eyes (he said I bruised more than most) and a bit of swelling remaining, I didn’t hate those pictures! In fact, I loved them. That was proof positive I had made the right choice, not only to have my nose surgery but to do it with Dr. Murray.
When I got out to the car, I took some selfies and sent them to friends and family. I never take selfies! But from every angle, I was happy with what I saw. My friends, family, and husband all agree that my nose still looks natural, but it’s prettier. (They won’t say what I will, which is that it looks MUCH better. Ha.) It has helped my confidence tremendously.
I cannot thank Dr. Murray enough. He is one of those rare people with an obvious passion for what they do and a work ethic clearly driven by that passion. He’s a perfectionist and an artist. Noses are his thing, and he is phenomenal at it. Check out his Instagram for loads of evidence of this. @dr.rhinoplasty.
It’s been almost a month since my surgery, and I have some swelling still. Dr. Murray says it will be at least a year before my nose really takes its final shape. I can’t even imagine being happier with it than I am now.The photo I’ve shared from the day of surgery doesn’t really show how it’s changed my whole face. I’ll take some “normal” photos once a year is up and post them here.
I only wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to have this done.
If you’re trying to decide on a nose surgeon, you’d be crazy not to choose Dr. Murray. He is not only passionate, skillful, talented and perfectionistic, but he’s also kind, caring, and personable. He’s kind of a unicorn, lol. Thanks again, Dr. Murray!

Your nose looks so great!
Thank you!
You look great! Do you mind if I ask you how much did it cost you?
Thanks! I had some issues with my septum, so my insurance paid for some of the procedure. I’m not sure what the total would’ve been without my insurance, but I paid 6k.
I can’t figure out how to add more pics to my review. Anyone know?
Never mind! Got it
