Rhinoplasty with Dr Mirza Firat

WORTH IT
Hey, I didn’t go ahead with the surgery, I was too worried about the front view of my nose and how it would fit my overall face after seeing more before and afters of Dr Mirza’s work.
Overall Dr Mirza and his team were great, I was always picked up on time and Mirza was polite in the consultation and helpful, I thought I’d know after I met him if I’d want to go ahead or not but on the morning of the scheduled surgery I still want 100% sure, which says to me not to go ahead. I am leaving Istanbul today, whilst I was here I tried to visit other surgeons just for consultations, I managed to meet Dr Volkan Kaya, his presence is endearing! He was very energetic and honest, he has a 3D technology which allows you to see the whole of the nose including the front. For me this put a lot of my concerns at ease, I know results Will vary and won’t be the exact same but it gives you some idea of what to expect.
Overall my advice for anyone who is looking to do surgery abroad is to have at least two consultations booked for when you come over, I know it means more money but then at least you have options and can see which doctor you prefer. This trip has been good even though I didn’t go ahead, there is lot to do in Istanbul, I am going to meet a few more surgeons in the UK and go from there I still want rhinoplasty but this time wasn’t for me. This journey is such a weird and wonderful process!

I have just paid my deposit for rhinoplasty on 28th September with Dr Mirza Firat. I am super excited and nervous, I have wanted rhinoplasty for the last 10 years. I will keep you all updated, considering whether to create an Instagram account so you can see my journey but only if it will be helpful, would love to know your thoughts. I have found them very helpful during all of my research stage.

That’s great! Did you ask for sloped or straight nose? I want straight and not the tip turning up like the typical Turkish nose job. But I hope he can do it as his noses are all sloped. Would you mind sending me a pic? Did you go alone?

Hi I am going to him too whatdid you want changed with your nose? Problem is I want a straight nose not a sloped one! I hope he can do this and not the favoured sloped Turkish nose job
