Dr. Kim is the GOAT!!

Like a lot of you, I thought about getting a nose job pretty much my entire life. As soon as people started pointing it out in middle school and I became more self aware it remained an insecurity and an ugly thought that was always tumbling around in my head, just ready to make me feel down on myself. I really think it made me hold back in a lot of ways as I look back now and I really wish I would have done it sooner, like in my 30's or 20's but better late than never. Side note, just because people tell you you're fine and that you don't need a nose job, or they think it's weird or whatever, if YOU are really bothered by it and feel like it might improve your life than DO IT!! Their opinions are theirs and they really don't have anything to do with you and how you want to live YOUR life. I listened to too many other opinions for too long. My rhinoplasty hasn't totally changed my life or make me feel like a supermodel, but it DID get rid of the negative thoughts about myself and I do feel a lot more confident when I am just doing ordinary things like waiting at a stop light. (I used to hate to think of someone looked over that they would see my big ol schnoz for example) So the reason I finally pulled the trigger was finding the best doctor EVER!!! Dr. Kim is super down to earth, easy to talk to, and just seems like a genuinely kind person who really cares. I had been to a consult with a previous doctor who works mainly out of Seattle but also comes to Hillsboro to meet with potential patients and he was AWFUL. I left the appointment feeling like I had just been to a car dealership or something. He honestly just seemed a little douchey, didn't listen to anything I said, and just kind of bulldozed me into what he would do without any input of what I would like to see. The office seemed really old and dated and he and his team were late for the appointment that morning. He also told me I didn't have a deviated septum which was definitely NOT the case. At that point I almost just gave up thinking that all plastic surgeons would be like that. I'm so glad that I tried one more time with Dr. Kim! I had been referred to him by a different plastic surgeon who had given me a liquid nose job, and by my injector at Skin By Lovely so I looked him up and booked my consult. The experience was night and day. His office is beautiful, his receptionist is so lovely, and Dr Kim again is just the best. He took an entire hour studying my nose and answering all of my questions. I believe he truly is one of the best doctors you can get for this procedure. And because I knew I was in the BEST hands I went through with it. I honestly always imagined I would be a lot more anxious about the result, but because he is so good at what he does it was a lot easier to just wait and rust the process as the swelling has gone down. I am almost at 3 months post op, so it's not what it will look like totally yet but I love it already! i am no longer camera shy or have to favor one side. Thank you Dr Kim you have made my life so much happier!!
