Rhinoplasty with Dr. Guray Yesiladali

First of all, I would like to say that everything mentioned in this review is my very honest opinion and experience. This will be a long review.

When I was little I fell and broke my nose, which led to a bump on my nose. This bump was an insecurity I had for a very very long time. I was doing research for a long time to find a good doctor to operate my nose. I found a lot of surgeons in Istanbul who’s reviews were great, but still I didn’t like their results because some noses were very very unnatural. Gladly I eventually found dr Guray and its results immediately met my expectations. So I started my Journey and decided to go to Istanbul and get my rhinoplasty done by dr. Guray. I will start from the beginning. The day I was flying to Istanbul we got a big delay, still the driver was at the airport waiting for us. This really made me feel good and from that time I knew I was in good hands. The driver took our suitcases and we were brought to our hotel. The hotel was pretty good and the staff was very helpful. The day of my surgery the driver came and took us to Vanity Clinic were I was getting my surgery. They did some test at the clinic and I was a bit anxious, but still the nurses and staff were comforting me and telling me to relax. Most of the staff speaks English fluently and were very friendly. The only feedback I would give to the staff is to communicate more and tell the patient what they are doing, what kind of meds they are injecting etc.

Dr Guray came to talk to me and discussed the possibilities. I really think he took the time to listen to me and to hear what I really want, which I was verg glad of. I trusted him immediately.

After my surgery the nurses put ice on my eyes and whenever I felt a little little pain they gave me painkillers, which was really nice. Overall, the operation went very well and I didn’t expect to have so little pain. It was more a feeling of discomfort because u are not able to breath through ur nose. I didn’t have much pain at all. The care of the nurses after surgery was also very good. My mother could also sleep in the clinic, which was very nice. After the surgery Dr. Guray came back to me and told me everything went fine and was very friendly overall.

The day after they gave me my medicine and told me how to aftercare my nose. Seven days later I got an appointment with Dr Guray to remove the cast and the splints. Still a lot of swelling so my nose scared me a bit. Now after 2 months I am in love with my nose. I think it’s perfect and very natural, just as I wanted it to be. Dr Guray definitely listened to my wishes. Thank you!!

The whole journey I was in contact with Duygu. She was really there for me and always answered my questions. I think she deserves a medal for all the times I was worried and asked her a lot of stuff ahha! She was always patient and told me to be relaxed and everything will be fine. Still now, 2 months post operation, she is there for me and helps me throughout this journey. Thank you for this Duygu!

The last day the driver brought us on time back to the airport for my flight back home. Everything was very well organized in my opinion.

The only feedback I would give is to focus more on communication. Sometimes I had the feeling this lacked a little bit, which made me a bit insecure. Overall, I would definitely recommend Dr. Guray and his staff in Vanity Clinic to everyone. I love my nose and I am very glad I choose for Vanity Clinic Dr. Guray Yesiladali.
