My current nostrils after a skin and cartilage graft 7/24/2023

$6,500
After two failed rhinoplasty surgeries by dr shah, and two more rhinoplasty’s plus a skin graft to attempt to reverse my overresected nostrils, my nasal tip has projection and looks much improved. The bridge is still crooked but also improved. My breathing is ok. My nostrils are still pinched but look much improved after a skin graft. Another minor procedure is scheduled to try raising right side alar rim and improving symmetry. Then a choice will be made if another type of skin graft will attempt to replace much of what was removed during my alarplasty with dr shah. Here is my current noseas of july 24 2023

My nostrils after a different surgeon added projection to my nose

Here are some photos of my nose after a different surgeon performed a full revision to project my nose after a failed attempt by dr shah during his two tip plasty procedures. My nostrils were done twice by dr Manish Shah and had not been touched by any other surgeon besides Dr. Shah.

Ethnic alarplasty with manish shah

I rated this a two star rating knowing i would give zero stars. I had a very large underprojected nasal tip with abnormally wide and tall alars. After a primary alarplasty with dr shah, i was still unhappy as my nose had not improved much. The tip plasty i was given gave me no added projection and was still asymmetrical. My alars were still very wide, tall and also asymmetric. When voicing my concerns with dr shah post op, i should have trusted my gut when I seen the biggest red flag. He seemed frustrated that I wasn’t happy with his work. Who would be, i had an ugly and large nose and he took my money but failed to deliver a good result. But i was so desperate at that point i asked him to do a revision. Biggest mistake of my life. He responded, this time we will do it under general anesthesia so i can be alot more aggressive. I had no idea what he had in mind. I was hoping he had the morals and expertise to not ruin a nose to the point of being botched. He took away any curvature that i had by ressecting too much of my alar and completely pinched my nostrils, leaving one side bigger than the other. It almost looks intentional. All while leaving the alars too tall vertically but left no curve on the alar crease and I couldn’t even fit my pinky in my nose anymore. He used only one technique while a real expert would have used a combination of techniques to achieve a good result. This man should be ashamed to call himself and artist and if this review saves one more person from experience this hell that dr shah put me through, well then it was worth writing. I found a real expert in the Denver area that has not only improved my nose greatly but also somewhat reverse the mess of a rhinoplasty dr shah left on my face. I will be posting pictures on on my profile soon to back up my claims and current pics of what my current surgeon was able to do as far as improving my nose
