Consultation with Suleyman Tas in Istanbul
The only reason im writing this review is for people to know ahead what to expect. I flew to Istanbul just for the consultation and if i had knew i wouldnt have.
Before going i was in contact with the doctors assistants whom informed me that the price range for a revision rhinoplasty is 4500-5000 euros so this is what i had mind. I went there and the doctor seemed like he knew rhinoplasty well and it went fine. I was actually considering going for the surgery, until i was led to a separate room to talk about the price with his assistants. His assistants told me that the price is now 8000 euro which is almost 60% more than what was told 2 months before. And the reasons for it is because ”their agreements with the hospital” because my nose wont ”count” as a revision rhinoplasty and thats why its 3000 euros more. This came as a shock to me and it did not feel good to experience that shock. So during the consultation the doctor suggested to do a nostril reduction and improve the breathing, and for some reason they claim these does not count as a revision rhinoplasty?! Didnt make sense at all.
The most disturbing thing is that i got the feeling that the price got higher cause im from europe. Cause they asked where i was born. Very weird in my opinion. Hope this review helps someonelse to not experience what i did.
