Thank You for my New NOSE!

WORTH IT
I just want to say that I know my nose wasn't bad to begin with. I liked my nose, I just always wanted the "filter" version. The slightly smaller, slightly contoured nose. Aside from that with age, (mid 30's) my allergies, sinuses & snoring at night was getting worse. I would be nudged awake every night by my friends or partner because I was snoring so loud! It got to be so embarrassing that I was too insecure to sleep around anyone. When I asked Dr Halaas to look at my nose she told me that I had a bone branch
(i can't remember the medical term) sticking out into the left side of my airway. She explained that might be why I'm snoring, and prone to nasal congestion. So I finally took the plunge and had the procedure done. I've had 4 surgeries in my life prior to this elective procedure. Out of all the surgical experiences I've had, this one was truly the best. The entire OR team during the prep and the recovery were so amazing, kind & gentle. The Anesthesia Doctor was the best I've ever had. My other surgeries I woke up and was so sick, like a bad hangover for the first 24 hours. When I woke up from my Rhino I felt completely fine. I was truly amazed and so happy about that. Dr Halaas accomplished exactly what I asked for. She fine tuned the cosmetic goals, and repaired the inside. For the first 6-8 months my nose went up and down in swelling, which is to be expected. But as time went on my new nose became more settled and prominent.
Its now been 1.5 years since my surgery and I am so happy that I did it with her. And my nose looks better and better every time I look at it. I also love that it still looks like MY NOSE, that was a very important detail to me. We all know the famous noses we don't like or want....
Anyways, couldn't be happier, and I highly recommend her.
