**AVOID RHINOPLASTY**
I had a septorhinoplasty with Ken Stewart in 2019, I know now I was naive in my selection of surgeon.
Further consultations with rhinoplasty surgeons have expressed its best to choose a surgeon who specialises in a specific surgery & not a “Jack of all trade” offering multiple surgeries.
My results were & still are shocking, highlighted early on my post op concerns & attended early post op consultations but it was apparent there was no plan to correct my concerns & consistently told my results were within reason, I now know that is because my revision surgery is a complex one, involving rib grafts.
After my last post op with mr Stewart I started the official complaints process via spire (which is not easy) I was then offered £500 from spire as a goodwill gesture & £1400 from Mr Stewart in the agreement I removed my negative/honest reviews. I declined.
I have since consulted with Mr Charles East & his colleague Mr Abdulkadir Goksel both rhinoplasty experts, who agree my revision surgery will be complex. Also highlighting disbelief my primary surgery was carried out by a ENT surgeon.
4 years on my results are awful, I have a deviated septum which was never repaired, breathing issues I did not have pre-surgery & a deformed looking nose.(see photos)
I have yet to find the courage to undergo revision surgery, having had it booked multiple times.
If you are considering rhinoplasty I hope this review helps to give an insight as to what may happen if it does not go to plan.
