Best clinic in Istanbul!!
Everything went absolutely smooth and great, from appointment and travel arrangements, to surgery itself (I had rhinoplasty), staff and services!!!
After years of carefully considering undertaking a rhinoplasty, I finally decided to make it happen this April. I was in contact with Caglar, who was really helpful, sending me all information in advance, papers to read and sign, all in the most transparent and safe way! Thank you very much!
Next, when the travelling day to Turkey arrived (I came alone) I was welcomed at the airport by the clinic's driver and was picked up directly to hospital (Academic Hospital, probably Top hospitals in Istanbul) for blood & Covid tests. All went smooth and fast, and in less than half an hour I was in my hotel room, getting ready for the big day.
Next morning, Fatih & Bilge (who was only on her first day!!) were waiting for me at reception, to return to Hospital for the surgery. They are two extremely lovely, warm and trustworthy Vanity Clinic international patients assistents, exactly the friendly faces one needs around for support and reassuring! Fatih carefully explained me all the steps about to happen, from hospital registration, meeting the nurses and the anaesthetist, my surgeon doctor, my post operation medicines and cleaning routine, everything I needed to know, no question remained unanswered, while Bilge was reassuring that they're both there to help me with anything, making sure I know I can contact them at anytime.
In the afternoon, I met my surgeon doctor, Dr. Alper Burak Uslu, an incredibly dedicated specialist with an amazing portfolio. He carefully listened my comments and mentions on what about my nose makes me unhappy, took notes on that and reassured me about everything. I completely trusted him, 100%, as I knew his work of art and his previous surgeries, and I knew that I can leave myself in the hands of such professional (European Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons and ISAPS).
Not longer after the consultation, I had my anaesthesia, and from there, I can't remember anything. I woke up few hours later on, with everything done, a cast on my nose and absolutely no pain. I spent only that night in the hospital, where I was permanently monitored (heart rate, oxigen rate, temperature), administrated painkiller, ice and liquid food, and even managed to sleep some good hours.
For the next couple of days, I returned to my hotel room, where I was following all cleaning routines and medication recommendations I received from Fatih.
On day 7th, I visited the Vanity Clinic again, for cast and stitches removal, where again, everything went fast and smooth. And the results are amazing!!
In a nutshell, I am so happy I chose Vanity, I couldn't have made any other better decision!! I am extremely grateful to all staff members for all their support, and forever thankful to my dedicated surgeon, Mr. Alper Burak Uslu for his work!!!
