Clear Expectations, Natural Results
WORTH IT
After two previous rhinoplasty surgeries in Brazil and Switzerland, I decided to travel to Turkey from abroad for a revision procedure, and I am now back in my home country.
From the first consultation, Dr. Bozkurt was very honest and clear. He explained in detail what could be improved and also what limitations we might face. I really appreciated this transparency, as it helped me set realistic expectations. We also did a 3D simulation, which made everything much easier to understand.
The day before surgery, I met with the anesthesiologist and completed all necessary tests. The surgery itself took around 2.5 hours. What surprised me the most was that right after the operation, I could already breathe better through my nose.
After the surgery, they showed me photos and videos from the procedure, which I found very reassuring. Since rib cartilage was used, I was told I might feel pain in my chest area, but honestly, I didn’t even need extra pain medication.
Five days later, during my check-up, the splint was removed and my nose was cleaned. Of course, there was some swelling, but I was already prepared for that and understood it’s part of the healing process.
After returning to my country, I sent my one-week follow-up photos as requested. Even at this early stage, I can say that I’m happy with the result and I know it will improve even more as the swelling goes down.
Looking back, I realize that my initial hesitation was unnecessary. The whole process felt very professional, well-organized, and transparent. I’m truly grateful to Dr. Bozkurt and his team.
