The Best Decision I Ever Made

I first spoke with Livia, (after I had seen 4 other doctors about my severely deviated septum, and was told it couldn't be fixed, or that it would be considered cosmetic and would cost me over $15,000) when I was ready to give up. She convinced me to come in for a consultation with Dr. Aydin. From that moment, she was my guardian angel, and by my side. Dr. Aydin was the most thorough and knowledgeable doctor I had spoken with, and he assured me, it was completely a medical issue, not cosmetic, and he could resolve it. I have never met a doctor like him. His bedside manner is like no other's. He listened to my fears, concerns and needs, he addressed each with the calmest disposition I've ever experienced, and I am now 3 weeks past my surgery. For the first time in my life, I can breathe, and I have a nose I'm not embarrassed to see in pictures (it gets better/more attractive every day as it heals). He is just phenomenal. His entire team is the most welcoming, professional yet compassionate, group of people I ever met. From the receptionists when you walk in the door, to the appointment setters, to the medical assistants (for me, Ana) who take pictures, to each and every person in that office, I am beyond grateful. When you walk into that office, you are treated like you matter, and you feel welcome each time you return. There aren't enough stars or thank yous I can give. What I can give is advice to others: if you hate your nose (or any part of your body), or you suffer like I did, save yourself months of time and speak to Dr. Aydin. What other doctor would give you his personal cell phone number, in case you need him after a surgery?! To Livia: you literally changed my life when you convinced me to meet Dr. Aydin.
I have every intention of going back, to have actual cosmetic work done, and I wouldn't even consider another doctor.
