Update

So I had an appointment today and he’s actually going to go in, under anesthesia, and attempt to fix the bump on the bridge. He was really open to fixing it, which I appreciated. The revision is scheduled for the beginning of March.

Botched Rhinoplasty

I'm posting this review because I had such a bad experience with my septoplasty/rhinoplasty surgery. The cosmetic outcome is terrible and I had a number of issues. All primarily on the left side bridge of my nose. To start, the doctor removed too much cartilege and also somehow flattened it. The skin healed weird and is now darkened. The photos are recent; it's a year after my rhinoplasty so this is considered the final result. You can see the shadows/dark spots in the photos - those are the areas where the doctor messed up the cartilage. On top of that, there is also a bump where he placed cartilage to prop up my valve, but the bump further contributes to the unevenness of my the left side of my nose. So now a year after my surgery, instead of loving my new nose, I am seriously considering rhinoplasty revision.
