From the beginning, I made sure I did an extensive research. I chose Dr. Delvecchio based on the before and after photos and convenient location in Boston. I got my surgery in Oct 2018 and now it has been a little over 2 years that I am post-op.
I’ll be blunt. He lacks bed side manners. He appears very educated on what he does, however I think his focus has shifted from rhinoplasties to BBLs (seen on his Instagram). During my consultation, he took a few photos and photoshopped what he believed he could do. We both agreed and I went along my way and booked my appointment.
I had my surgery. The only downfall is he works between his Boston and NYC office. He was only in the Boston office on Tuesday and Thursday which meant if I had any issues, I’d have to wait to be seen.
Fast forward to 2021....
As you can see, my nose looks horrendous. The swelling has gone down but you can see my nose was turned too upright and it has dropped significantly. The top and bottom of my nose look as if they separated and I have a shadow between the top and bottom where it dips. As for my breathing, I can only really breathe out of my left nostril and have difficulty breathing out of the two at the same time.
I don’t have super thin skin on my nose, however you can see that the cartilage piece he inserted is now sticking out.
I am looking into a revision.
