Finally did it

I had my consultation with Dr Katz over the phone a couple of weeks ago and booked my surgery right away. His surgical coordinator Manina is great, she has been very helpful every time I talked to her over the phone and doesn't make you feel like you're just another patient.Dr Katz was also super nice and I felt comfortable talking to him the entire time. I never felt like I was being rushed or pushed to make a decision right away. What was so impressive to me was that he described everything I was looking to change about my nose before I even told him what my concerns were just by looking at my photos!He let me ask questions and voice any other concerns I had but he really got to everything by the end of the consultation so I didn't have much to say lol. He's knowledgeable, warm, and patient which is something I've been looking for in a doctor for years. I'm so happy I finally found a doctor that I'm confident in and can't wait to have this weight lifted off my shoulders. Will update after my surgery!!

Waking up from surgery was definitely the worst part with the sore throat and drowsiness for me I think. I got a good amount of work done on my nose and I also got a chin implant. The implant is most painful, it’s pressure and pulling and it’s hard to open my mouth to eat. My nose is just slightly burning, like when you have a bad flu. Heather, Dr Katz’s nurse was so great. She made me feel comfortable and explained everything so well. Tracy the anesthesiologist made me feel at home, he was so funny and we had great conversation before he knocked me out lmfao. Dr Katz came in to see me while I was waiting on the table, we went over again briefly what I was expecting and he assured me he knew exactly what I wanted. And just judging from what I can see under my bandages, he very likely gave me exactly what I wanted. I have barely noticeable bruising about 24 hours after so hopefully it stays that way! Slight swelling around the eyes but that is about it. For the chin implant though, I am swelling up like a frog lmfaooo. I can definitely see my jawline defined now and I’m sooooo happy even though I look crazy right now. His idea and knowledge on the placement and type of chin implant made a huge impact on my appearance when I didn’t even expect to come out of my rhinoplasty with an improved jawline too! Will update more soon when there’s something to update other than being miserable lol
