How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Rhinoplasty in BKK with Dr Montien
I never had small nose by any means, but I broke it in 2015 and the tip was huge afterwards and so was the bump. It never went back to normal. I couldn't live with it whatsoever. I have strong facial features and a small, ski slope nose wouldn't suit me... So this is why I chose Dr Montien, because I think he does beautiful work, he creates custom, elegant noses that look very natural and he certainly did that with me. I'm so, so happy with my results. A lot of people have told me that it's the best nose job they've ever seen and perfectly suits me (I was very open with close friends about what I did)... And I agree with them that it suits me and is perfect for my face! I loved Dr Montien's work so much that pre-op, I told him to just work his magic because I just wanted something elegant that fit MY face and this is what he does day in day out, so I trust his judgement.
I was warned by some about going to Thailand, but the thing is, a family friend also did her nose with a surgeon in Sydney around the same time... And she got a cookie cutter, ski slope nose and has so many problems with it. And she paid about double what I did. I didn't choose on cost, I genuinely felt Dr Montien was right for me, and I guess my point is that you have to do your research carefully whether your surgeon is in Australia or Thailand. Just realise that by going too small with your nose, you can be buying yourself a lifetime of breathing difficulties and related complications. A good surgeon will explain that to you and actually should refuse to do work that is unrealistic. Anyhow, I've always felt guilty that I didn't leave a review.
Dr Montien himself is very very nice and kind, he has a very practical manner, very straight forward which I appreciate, his staff were also nice and the Cosmeditour staff in Thailand were nice too. I had a poor exchange with some of the staff in Australia, but I'd already paid, and I decided to not talk to them ever again unless absolutely necessary. So that is reflected in some of my reviews.
I thought it was important to book through Cosmeditour because I wanted someone in Australia to be liable if anything went awry, lol. They also offered revision insurance which was an extra $500. I was happy to pay it in case I needed it, but also because I felt that they wouldn't offer it if it was needed frequently. It just made me feel better about it on every level, haha.
I'll try to upload some photos, cheers.
