Hi,
does anyone have any insight into the feeling of small bumps on the nose? it feels like it could be scar tissue. Also, I feel as if my profile is changing in an unfortunate way? could be the scar tissue maybe, it does not have the same slope it did.

Unfortunately if you had closed rhinoplasty with no grafts, the tip and columella will continue to drop over the first 2-3 years and the bridge mid vault will collapse over time, making the nose longer than preop.
Thank you, I'll be sure to ask at my next appointment. but is it normal to have no grafts? wouldn't doctors use grafts in order for this not to happen?

It is quite common for doctors not to use grafts, however this does not mean it is ok. Closed reductive rhinoplasty without grafting is the oldest method of rhinoplasty and unfortunately often leads to collapse, deviation, breathing issues, nostril retraction and soft tissue contraction due to removal of cartilage without replacement of necessary support. In the past 30 years, competent surgeons have moved towards grafting using patient's own cartilage which usually results in permanent structural support which lasts for the patient's lifetime.
I thought they only do grafting when there is not enough tissue. It sounds really scary what you wrote.

These are before and afters of the side view. my front view was not changed too much, my bones were just taken in with osteotomy but my nose was not wide to begin with. I also had a septoplasty performed but due to congestion after surgery, I can't evaluate my breathing at all.

Beautiful and Natural Result
I came to Dr Solomon this August for a consultation. He was very friendly and he made me feel very comfortable, so I chose him as my surgeon. I only saw one other dr but I know many people who have had their rhinoplasty by dr solomon and were very happy and look fantastic. My main concern was my deviated septum, nose crookedness and dorsal bump.
The process was extremely straight forward, from appointments to payment. The staff were always professional and friendly.
I do have to say not a ton of time spent with dr solomon in the hospital, but despite this his experience and skill make you feel more than comfortable. Make sure to communicate your desire and make sure you are on the same page and all will be well.
I had a lot of anxiety during my recovery as I was nervous about my result. I could not have been more thrilled when the cast came off. His work exceeded my expectations, even when swollen. I look as if I was always meant to have this nose, and only 10 days post-op I already feel great and I cannot believe the result will only get better.
I would recommend him to any person seeking a result that is natural, yet perfect for you. I was worried I would not look like myself, but he preserved all of the good parts of my nose while addressing my concerns. I am so happy!
