Amazing Results, Lackluster Support Staff
WORTH IT
I want to start out by saying I’m obsessed with my results. I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Garcia and he really made my dreams come true. I had my surgery almost a year ago now and I only wish I did it sooner.
My experience with the rest of the staff wasn’t that great and it’s the only thing holding me back from recommending their office to friends. Leading up to the surgery my communications with Diane were amazing. She was so sweet. The day of my surgery I arrived at 8AM as requested, which is before they open. When I got there the girl at the desk kind of looked up at me and was just like can I help you? And I know this seems dramatic but you can’t even remember my name? Or say anything about it being my surgery day? I’m the only scheduled surgery and they weren’t even open yet.
I feel like when you make the decision to get an elective surgery the staff tend to be super sweet and caring. And this felt like I walked into a sunglass hut.
Afterwards when I went to my 1 week follow up appointment I met with the PA who took my cast off. I did not see dr. Garcia this day, which is fine I really didn’t need to see him for this i guess. She took my cast off and just seemed utterly annoyed the entire time I was sitting in her chair. I literally looked at her and said omg this is so crazy i always wondered what my nose would look like after surgery. And she just says “yea”. It ruined a really big day for me, something I was so excited about finally seeing my results and she could not get me out of there fast enough.
That’s the last time I’ve been in their office, i live a few hours away but went to this office because I loved Dr. Garcia’s results. I’ve had a couple virtual appointments with dr. Gracia at my request just to check in. I reached out a couple months after my surgery with some concerns and they referred me to their emergency texting number, and I didn’t ever hear back. My mother had recently had a small procedure done elsewhere and they were still in contact with her so much so that they said I could reach out to them with any questions. Nobody has checked in or sent any communication to me since my 2 week follow up.
Like I said I loved my results, and that is the most important part. But I can’t comfortably recommend this practice to people I know because they made the process seem like a burden to them.
