Amazing Experience and Amazing Results

I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr Tahir Shafi Khan and I can honestly say it has been a life changing experience for me.
For years, I struggled to breathe properly through my left side. It wasn’t just a small issue, it genuinely affected my sleep. I would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air and sometimes even have sleep paralysis. It got to a point where I didn’t even know what normal breathing was meant to feel like anymore, which is honestly quite scary to think about now.
From my very first consultation, Dr Tahir Shafi Khan was so friendly, calm and clearly very knowledgeable. He explained the procedure in a way that actually made sense, went through what was causing my breathing issues, and talked me through exactly how he would fix it. I never felt rushed and he made sure I understood everything properly, which really helped build my trust in him.
Even on the day of the surgery, I felt surprisingly at ease. That was largely down to how kind and reassuring he was, along with his team. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, and the overall care and hospitality made such a difference, especially as I had travelled from out of the country and was already quite nervous.
Even just 5 days post op, I had a moment where I took a clear, full breath through my left side and it genuinely shocked me. I don’t even remember the last time I felt that. That moment alone meant everything to me and I’m just so, so grateful.
And oh my goodness, the day my cast and splints were removed… I genuinely haven’t breathed like that in years. I almost feel like I have so much oxygen now that my brain isn’t used to it at all haha.
Aesthetically, I also had my own insecurities. My nose had a curve from both the front and side which I had always noticed. Dr Tahir Shafi Khan really listened to what I wanted. I didn’t want anything overdone, just something natural that suited my face. He removed the hump and gave me a soft, slight curve exactly how I wanted it. Even with the swelling, I can already see how much more balanced and refined it looks, while still looking like me.
What really stood out to me throughout this whole process was how attentive and patient he was. He answered every single question I had, no matter how small, and always took the time to properly explain things. He’s not only incredibly skilled at what he does, but also genuinely caring, which made me feel very comfortable in his care.
I’m still early in recovery but I already feel so happy and confident in my decision. Choosing to have surgery is a big step, especially travelling abroad for it, but I truly felt like I was in the best hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Tahir Shafi Khan to anyone considering this, not just for his results but for how kind, professional and dedicated he is to his patients.
