Post-op 1 Month-1 & half year

Pictures range from 1 month post op to 1 (Aug 2018) and a half year (Feb 2020). Im fully “healed” and I definitely love my nose just the same as I did the first day the cast came off. I have noticed my nose to be a tiny bit thinner now vs. 1-6 month Post op. This is to be expected despite my initial assumption of not swelling. In any case this did not alter the integrity of my overall results. My left side is still not my favourite but it’s dramatically better post op vs. pre-op. By the same token. I equally love both side of my profile when photographed on either I social side (hope that makes sense). I just tend to turn my face towards to or slightly to my right since it’s what I prefer, and of course I absolutely love it more now. My new nose definitely suits my face and it’s now more feminine and symmetrical. I love the tiny upturned tip curve and that I no longer have a line running through my tip and it’s smaller.
I don’t know how he made my nose so amazing but I’m glad it worked!!
I saw the photoshop he did in my consult and my real results are way better. I did not take the simulation very seriously, and simply applied it to my expectations with a grain of salt.
Hope my experiences helped!

Pre-Op and Pre-Op pics (day 7-10 recovery)

*Correction* (RealSelf posts and updates are not user friendly in terms of ease and ability to edit content and uploading pics.)

Please see the before and immediately post operation of closed rhinoplasty at day 7 (cast off day) and day 10 (3 days cast off). I was not in much pain during recovery, simply in discomfort from the anesthesia and my post op care routine (I was extremely diligent and took many precautions x10+ of what was recommended) I did not swell or bruise much, it was very minor. I loved the results as soon as the cast was off.

I have included my pre-op nose in various angles and lighting since I’m asked for lots of pre-op pics and will include post-op photos in my updates. I’m always asked about my experience and recovery on other forums, social media and in person. I will simply refer everyone who has question to these RS posts in an effort to save time. Feel free to ask follow up questions and I’ll be happy to help.

*Also, once my sister has her revision (which will booked for the summer) I will have her post so that both types of potential patients researching this procedure are able to gain insight.

I hope this helps you

Dr.Rival is amazing and would recommend 10/10!

Post op

As you can see, the bridge and tip appearance varies based on the angle and lighting. I was very self conscious about my tip the most, and especially how it appeared in my side profile. The line in between my tip also bothered me, it did not look feminine which further added to the lack of symmetry.
