I just got my cast off yesterday and I could not be happier with the results of my rhinoplasty! Initially, I met with multiple surgeons to try to find the right fit for me. I chose Dr. Parhiscar for many reasons but mainly because of his results. Other surgeons that I was looking at seemed to give everyone the same nose. But I could see that he really tailors his noses to suit his patients' faces and look as though it was always meant to be their nose.
I first met Dr. Parhiscar at a free consultation. I had paid for some other consultations and gained even less information than I received from Dr. Parhiscar. I figured because it was a free consultation it might be quicker as I already had felt dismissed by another surgeon who talked to me for like 5 minutes. This was absolutely not the case with Dr. Parhiscar. He gave me a lot of details and answered all my questions. He even photoshopped me to show me what I would look like with my new/ideal nose (it looks almost exactly like my results!). One thing I was cautious of was meeting with a surgeon who pointed out "flaws" of asymmetry that I had not discussed myself. I was ready to trust someone's professional opinion but did not want to feel forced to make changes I was not comfortable with.
Once I decided on Dr. Parhiscar I was able to schedule my surgery on the date I wanted (about 3 months away). I only had a 2-week break in between school and I knew the tight window might be difficult to accommodate. I would recommend looking at consultations 3-6 months before you want your surgery.
On my surgery day, I didn't feel nervous at all because I completely trusted that Dr. Parhiscar would give me a great nose even if I had never told him what I wanted to change. One last thing I love about him is that he always answered all my questions without making me feel rushed or as if I was asking something stupid. It's hard to find a doctor who really listens to you and works as hard as Dr. Parhiscar does to make you feel comfortable and prepared. The recovery wasn't too bad just remember to ice!! I'm only 1-week post-op and so happy with my results! I can't wait to see how everything looks when the swelling goes down.
