My Revision Skincare for discoloration and hyperpigmentation

My Revision Skincare

WORTH IT$235

I am always on the hunt for solutions to my skincare needs. I have sensitive, acne prone skin with some areas of hyperpigmentation and dark circles under my eyes and combination skin that is oily but I get dry patches at times. I must continuously keep a good moisture balance on my skin without using heaving products that will make me oily.

I'm hoping with these Revision Skincare products that some of my discoloration and hyperpigmentation will even out. I received the C+ Correcting Complex, a creamy day and night serum and the Intellishade TruPhysical which is a tinted moisturizer with SPF 45. Upon receiving the products and doing a swatch test I like that the skincare is lightweight but rich and does not have a strong fragrance as this typically irritates my sensitive skin. The moisturizer is reminiscent of the popular BB creams that emerged over the past 10 years -- a rich moisturizer that must be smoothed into the skin.

Both of the products, a pump and a tube, come in classy, sleek, minimalist black packaging that look great sitting on my bathroom sink amongst the rest of my skincare. I will continue to use these products day and night through the next couple of weeks to see if I notice a difference.

**I received this complimentary treatment through the RealSelf Ambassador program.**

Revision update

3 weeks later I am still using Revision skincare but am using it every other day as I was getting some breakouts unrelated to the Revision products. I have seen some brightness in my skin’s tone so I will say so far I am enjoying the products. I do believe the serum has helped to make my skin smoother to the touch but I’m not sure if it addressed texture on my skin which was not necessarily expected but wild have been nice. The moisturizer is a bit light compared to my skin tone so it must be rubbed in a lot in order to help sheer out the product but the lightness still remains. I will continue using the products and provide my final update of the skincare.

Final update of Revision Skincare

The C+ Correcting Complex has been good to my skin since I’ve started using it. I am not sure how many applications I have left in this bottle but I wish I had an idea. Although I love the packaging it’s difficult to know when the product is running low. I have discontinued use of the moisturizer on my face as again the product does not blend in well on darker skin tones. Instead I plan on using it on my tummy tuck scar to keep it protected in the summer months. The 45 SPF is great level for this type of protection and I really think the formula would be great on the body because of how moisturizing it is. I look forward to seeing the results in that. Overall I think the quality of Revision Skincare is great and I think the products worked great for my sensitive combination skin.
