Now Looking for revision rhinoplasty in Turkey! Here is my story.
Where do I begin? Honestly! I was so naive when I first had my primary rhinoplasty at Transform by a terrible surgeon (Dr Jawad Tahery) in Manchester back in 2016 (I learnt afterwards I wasn't the only patient he had left botched up)! I was left with a crooked, indented and uneven nose. It took me THREE years into loving myself again I learnt to accept it as it was. I was in no way financially stable for another surgery, I was going through a lot of other stressful situations in my life. I dropped out of my studies to work and save money.
I was introduced to Harley Medical by a friend the doctors suggested that I get back in touch with my initial surgeon at Transform however he had stopped working there and another doctor saw me in his place , completely refused to touch my nose, lied to my face and just scared me away from another surgery all together. Heartbroken I went back to Harley's they were a lot more sympathetic but doctors there also tried to convince me of my nose not being "all that bad" and that it would be too risky to do anything with it. Life just felt so unfair at this point I was incredibly hurt and confused by their comments but I wasn't going to give up , it was just a matter of finding the right surgeon :/ an assistant had recommended me to Dr Prem in London, I had my surgery in August of last year 2019! He straightened my nasal bone but that's all he did and could do, I am very thankful to him for me at least it was better than nothing he said the deformities left by the previous surgeon made my nose harder to work with.
I am at a place right now where I am convinced plastic surgeons in the UK are not as skilled and about the aesthetic /cosmetic aspect of surgeries. I am still not satisfied with the overall shape of my nose, everyday I wish I hadn't got it done.
Fast forward to where I am right now I am looking at surgeons in Turkey for a third round . from what I've seen and heard they're apparently amazing and very good at what they do. If only I had known from the beginning, instead of spending a shitload of money here only to end up with a botched/basic ass nose. Oh well.
