Traumatized and Deeply Regret This Surgery

I would not recommend this surgeon based on my experience. I paid approximately $14,000 for my revision rhinoplasty and my nose looks worse now than it did before surgery. I also cannot breathe properly through my right nostril.

I was very specific about what I wanted. I wanted a tiny, refined nose and especially wanted the tip made smaller. I showed him numerous pictures. When I showed him one of them, he laughed and said, “That’s AI.” I told him, that is the goal of how I would like my nose to look like. I found his response very condescending and dismissive.

The tip of my nose is now the largest part and looks almost twice the size it was before. I also have a hard, bone-like area sticking out on the right side of my nose that was never there before.

During surgery I became aware and remember trying to get off the operating table. It was terrifying and something I will never forget!

I went back numerous times because I was unhappy with the results. I received steroid injections in my nose trying to improve it. I became so self-conscious that I barely left my house and lost an entire year of work. The confidence I had before this surgery is gone.

I was originally told he would revise my nose without another surgeon’s fee and that I would only have to pay approximately $3,800 in facility costs. That later became $5,322 and I was told it could cost even more if additional operating time was needed.

At this point I would never allow him to operate on my face again. Now I have to find another surgeon, pay for another surgery and hopefully correct both the appearance of my nose and my breathing.

I deeply regret choosing this surgeon. If you are considering rhinoplasty, based on my experience, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
